Our Commitment
The Institute for Self-Determined Relationships, PLLC is committed to making this website as accessible as possible to all people, including those with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as a guide for our ongoing accessibility efforts.
Accessibility is a continuous process. We regularly review this website and work to address barriers as they are identified. Some content delivered through third-party services may not be fully within our control.
Accessibility Efforts
We have reviewed this website against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria and have worked to address the following areas:
- Keyboard navigation for all dropdown menus — operable via Tab, Arrow keys, Enter, Space, and Escape
- Skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
- Color contrast reviewed across text elements with a target of the 4.5:1 minimum ratio
- Decorative images and icons marked with aria-hidden to reduce screen reader noise
- Form fields include aria-required and visible required indicators
- Testimonial quotes use semantic blockquote and cite elements
- Smooth scroll animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion system setting
- Mobile menu button includes aria-expanded state
- User zoom is not restricted
We continue to test with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation as part of ongoing reviews. If you encounter an issue not reflected here, please let us know — we take accessibility feedback seriously and respond promptly.
